How Does Your Laser Printer Work?
I remember some years ago when a new guy started at Glen's who no longer works with us asked (while in front of a customer) "What's a toner"?
So what is toner? Simply put its a powder based printing medium that is sprinkled onto your paper during the printing process. It then passes through a fuser unit that heats the toner onto the paper. That is why your paper is warm when it comes out of the laser jet printer.

What is the difference between original and compatible?
The simple answer to the question is a compatible is an alternative brand which is designed to work with your printer. The advantage of a compatible is the difference in cost. The biggest disadvantage is that compatibles are generally refurbished parts. However, if you purchase a re-manufactured/compatible toner from a reputable supplier like ourselves your compatible cartridge will be fully guaranteed and will be offered a free of charge replacement.
The con of the on-line auction site.
If the price is too good to be true, it probably is. Some toners may have been drilled and refilled, incorrect images against the product or wording could mislead into thinking you have purchased an original cartridge. So be careful when you buy on-line from a company or web-site you have never heard of.
